Mike Popham is a businessman, and former public servant in the UK Royal Air Force and local politics.

As Founder of Tokonomy Three Mike leads his specialist teams facilitate the evolution of private blockchains.  His view is that Web3, Quantum, AI and blockchain technologies demand persistent focus on secure processing, storage and transmission of information within and between companies.  The demands on managerial, operational, logistical and administrative data are ever present.  Tokonomy Three supports clients’ in process definition, technology selection, acquisition and implementation through delineative requirements definition, project management and follow-through. 

Commencing in electronics manufacturing at EMI Weapons Division, Wells, England, Mike began his non-commssioned military career in RADAR operations and radio nav aids engineering.  Subsequently commissioned into the RAF's communications-electronics branch, he completed his service in the rank of squadron leader before completing his MBA at the Kingston Business School, Surrey, England attaining a fellowship of the Royal Society of Arts.

As the founder he was awarded UK Government Smart Award funding for the iGRC Consortium, a body he formed bringing together risk, compliance and cybersecurity developers with HP Labs and academia from Cranfield University, Birkbeck and University of London.  Entitled ‘Integrated model for the management of the complexity, risk and resilience of secure information infrastructure’, it achieved automated threat remediation, enabling organizations to enhance IT security resilience in real-time.
